Questions to Ask Yourself

- Is there a safe way to fix wires that are cut or damaged?
If patio lights are wired in parallel (not series), you can cut them to size and make the exposed wires safe by applying Star Brite Liquid Electrical Tape to the end of the wire.
We also use this when a pet in our home chews on charging cables and other electronic wires. A little Star Brite Liquid Electrical Tape on the cut wire and within 5 minutes it is dry and ready to use. Before you know it, the wire is back to being safely protected by the sheath.
